Liverpool is now preparing a significant offer after a high-profile star has approved a transfer.

The Reds have received a substantial boost in their quest for a key target this summer and are currently organizing a lucrative bid to secure his services.

Following a disappointing previous season, Liverpool is in a determined mood, having already replaced Arne Slot with Andoni Iraola and made their first signing under the new manager, Victor Munoz.

Initially, the Spaniard seemed set to join Newcastle United, but Liverpool has once again outmaneuvered their rivals to bring the winger to Anfield.

The Magpies find themselves back at square one, while those on Merseyside are just beginning their efforts. They are still keen to invest heavily in another forward in the upcoming months.

Players like Bradley Barcola and Matias Fernandez-Pardo have caught Liverpool’s attention as they search for another dynamic winger, but it is well-known that their primary target remains Yan Diomande.

Despite having an offer of up to €100m (£87m) for the RB Leipzig player rejected, Anfield officials are prepared to make another attempt and are willing to spend significantly, just a year after investing around £450m on last summer’s signings.

Romano provides a crucial update on Liverpool and Diomande.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool is now preparing a substantial offer for Diomande, which is expected to surpass the €100m (£87m) threshold and approach Leipzig’s €120m (£104m) asking price.

As negotiations progress, Diomande has also made an important decision regarding his future. According to Romano, the winger is now inclined to leave Leipzig this summer, giving those at Anfield a significant advantage.

Liverpool demonstrated their willingness to spend last summer and could make another bold statement. As the World Cup unfolds, the asking price for Diomande increasingly appears justified, too.

The 19-year-old was instrumental in Ivory Coast’s goal against Germany during the group stage, having successfully executed eight dribbles across two matches in the tournament. To highlight the significance of this achievement, the last teenager to achieve more dribbles in their initial two World Cup games was none other than Lionel Messi.
