The Arsenal home jersey for the 2025/26 season has been officially unveiled.

Arsenal has made a significant decision regarding their Adidas home kit for the 2025/26 season, coinciding with Newcastle United’s confirmed plans.

The team is anticipated to debut their new home kit during their last league match of the season.

The launch of the new home shirt is scheduled for later this week, just before the current season concludes, and it is expected to be worn in the final home game.

This new classic red and white design is likely to incorporate nostalgic elements from the club’s historical iconography.

After two years of incorporating a third color into the home shirt—first with gold trim to commemorate 20 years since the Invincibles season in 2023/24, and then with blue inspired by the club’s modern badge in the current season—this design will revert to the traditional red and white colors of the past.

Arsenal has a history of introducing new shirts before the season’s end, a practice that is not uncommon.

However, the club chose not to follow this tradition last season, opting to wear the same kit against Everton on the final day, which they had used throughout the Emirates Stadium matches.

With the possibility of clinching the league title on the final day, they decided to stick with the same kit, meaning that if they had lifted the Premier League trophy, it would have been in the kit they wore during their title-winning campaign, despite announcing the 2024/25 kit just three days prior to the last match.

Arsenal’s last home game is not on the final day but rather in the penultimate match against Newcastle United.

This match serves as a sort of second-place playoff, with Arsenal aware that a victory over the Magpies would nearly secure their second-place finish, barring any catastrophic results for already relegated Southampton on the final day. Following the launch, as has become customary, the players will don the new kit on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta will be aiming for a significant victory after some challenging league performances, but the recent comeback against Liverpool has certainly improved the team’s morale.
