Sunderland have reached an agreement on a fee for their target, but he is ‘tempted’ by another offer.

The club has settled on a fee with Nice for goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, yet the player is also considering an offer from Saudi Arabia that he finds ‘tempting’.

Bulka has made a strong impression in France while playing for Nice, and with only a year remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 team, he has become a sought-after player.

Sunderland is eager to secure the 25-year-old goalkeeper and has been optimistic about their chances, but interest from Saudi Arabian club Neom complicates matters.

Neom has also agreed on a fee with Nice for Bulka, and now Sunderland has followed suit, as reported by the Polish outlet Meczyki.

The Black Cats are prepared to pay over €15 million to bring the Polish goalkeeper to the Premier League.

Nevertheless, Neom continues to pursue Bulka, and the goalkeeper is ‘tempted’ by the prospect of a move to Saudi Arabia.

Joining the Saudi Pro League could prove to be a financially rewarding opportunity for Bulka.

The choice now lies with him as to whether he will sign with Sunderland or Neom.

Neom has ambitious plans and secured promotion to the Saudi Pro League last season.

They are looking for strong signings to make an impact in the top division, competing against teams like Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, and believe Bulka would be a perfect fit.

Sunderland must hope that the appeal of playing in the Premier League outweighs the allure of a move to Saudi Arabia for Bulka.

Bulka may also have reservations about joining a newly promoted team like Sunderland, especially considering the struggles that newly promoted clubs have faced in the Premier League in recent years.

The goalkeeper could find himself embroiled in a relegation battle in England.
