Given that Manchester City holds a 15 percent sell-on clause, the South Coast club may be reluctant to accept anything below their asking price.

They will aim to maximize their revenue for their midfield talent, and that clause would result in a significant portion of their earnings going to the Etihad.

Last season, Farke moved away from the approach that led to Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League.

Currently, Leeds lacks the midfield maestro that Charles identifies himself as.

Although Ethan Ampadu has performed admirably over the past few seasons, the captain is more of a ball-winning midfielder than a deep-lying playmaker.

Regarding Charles, Farke evidently seeks those attributes, or else the Whites would not have gone to the extent of making three bids.
