THE LATEST CONFIRMED TRANSFER NEWS AHEAD OF SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW 2025: LIVERPOOL SET TO FINALIZED THE SECOND SUMMER TRANSFER ✅ – ARSENAL AGREE GYOKERES DEAL ✅ – MANCHESTER UNITED SET TO SIGN £2.5M CUNHA ✅ – KLOPP SET FOR SENSATIONAL RETURN TO MANAGEMENT…

Transfer news is currently live!
Arsenal has reached an agreement for Viktor Gyokeres;
Manchester United is engaged in discussions for a £92 million deal;
Florian Wirtz is linked to Liverpool; and updates from Chelsea are forthcoming.
The first of the two summer transfer windows is approaching rapidly. Although the summer window does not officially open for another 12 days, significant transactions are already in progress and nearing completion across Europe.
Reports from Portugal indicate that Arsenal has finalized a £59 million agreement for Viktor Gyokeres, fulfilling Mikel Arteta’s long-standing desire for a striker.
Another noteworthy development involves Florian Wirtz, who is anticipated to be a key player in this summer’s transfer market.
Manchester City has withdrawn from the competition due to concerns over escalating costs, which they estimate could exceed £250 million, leaving Liverpool and Bayern Munich as the most probable destinations for him.
Liverpool has already secured the signing of Jeremie Frimpong and is also pursuing Milos Kerkez.
In other news, Manchester United is poised to acquire Matheus Cunha for £62.5 million and has engaged in discussions with Liam Delap, who is also being targeted by Chelsea and Tottenham.
Bryan Mbeumo is also expected to be involved in a high-value transfer, while Jurgen Klopp may be making an unexpected return to management.
Stay updated with the latest transfer news, rumors, and gossip below! Liverpool has taken the lead in the pursuit of Wirtz.
Liverpool is now at the forefront of the competition to sign Florian Wirtz.
Manchester City withdrew from the race on Monday after direct discussions with the player’s father in the UK regarding the soaring costs associated with finalizing a deal.
It is reported that the total cost for Wirtz, including fees and wages, could reach approximately €300 million (£252 million).
The transfer fee alone is projected to set a British record at £126 million, which City believes does not offer good value.
Consequently, Liverpool is now favored to sign Wirtz, who would join his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong at Anfield.
Bayern Munich remains a long-term contender for Wirtz and is considered by many to be his most likely next club.
Arsenal has confirmed a £59 million fee for Gyokeres, with the Sporting star’s transfer to Arsenal nearly finalized.
According to the Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, it was reported on Monday that a Swedish player is on his way to Arsenal after both clubs agreed on a £59 million transfer fee.
Discussions regarding personal terms are set to take place, but they are not anticipated to pose any issues.
Is Mikel Arteta finally securing his striker? Meanwhile, Manchester United is nearing the acquisition of Matheus Cunha for £62.5 million.
Fabrizio Romano has indicated that the Wolves striker has consented to the transfer, and the finalization of personal contract terms is underway.
This deal is believed to be valued at approximately £62.5 million due to a clause in his contract with Wolves.
Ruben Amorim is close to completing his first summer signing. Additionally, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all vying to sign Chelsea’s outcast Christopher Nkunku.
The French international, who arrived with high expectations two years ago for £52 million from RB Leipzig, has faced numerous injuries and questions regarding his temperament, limiting his role significantly.
Nevertheless, the Premier League trio remains undeterred, as reported by The Sun, and is part of a competitive six-team race for Nkunku, which also includes West Ham, Paris Saint-Germain, and Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea aims to recover as much of their initial investment as possible and would prefer Nkunku to transfer abroad.
In other news, intriguing reports from Italy suggest that Jurgen Klopp has agreed to take over as manager of Roma this summer.
Klopp has been out of management since departing Liverpool last summer but took on a role with Red Bull as Head of Global Soccer in January.
He was briefly considered for the Real Madrid managerial position to replace Carlo Ancelotti, but Xabi Alonso is set to take over instead.
This leaves Klopp poised for an unexpected move to Italy, with reports indicating that he was in discussions with another unnamed club before that deal fell through, prompting his shift in focus to Rome.
If confirmed, Klopp will be responsible for leading Roma to their first Serie A championship since 2001.
