Liverpool is reportedly prepared to offer €60 million for the transfer of the highly regarded Stuttgart midfielder, Angelo Stiller.

The 24-year-old is gaining recognition as one of Europe’s top midfield talents outside the traditional elite clubs, and a significant transfer appears imminent.

Previously linked with Liverpool, recent updates from Fichajes indicate that the Merseyside club is willing to invest heavily in him.

Although this bid has yet to be submitted, the report suggests that LFC sees Stiller as an ideal fit for Arne Slot’s tactical approach, necessitating a decision on how to proceed with their interest.

Stiller has been praised as ‘incredible’ by his manager, Sebastian Hoeness, who stated in Kicker: ‘As a central midfielder, he possesses remarkable strategic abilities.

He can read the game and control it from a deep position. His left foot is exceptional, and he can also support attacking players effectively.’

Additionally, nearly a year ago, CaughtOffside columnist Christian Falk noted that ‘Stiller’s playing style aligns with Barcelona’s football philosophy.’

It is evident that he is a unique talent who will continue to draw attention! However, the question remains: how would Liverpool integrate Angelo Stiller into their midfield?

Despite Stiller’s impressive skills, it is uncertain whether Liverpool should prioritize acquiring a midfielder of his caliber this summer.

Slot already has considerable depth in that area, with players like Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, and Dominik Szoboszlai performing well this season.

Furthermore, there is additional depth with Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, making it challenging to find a role for Stiller unless significant player departures occur.
