Liverpool is now considering a surprising move to acquire an ‘amazing’ Brazilian star for Iraola – report

Liverpool is Planning to Sign ‘Amazing’ Brazilian Forward for Iraola

All attention will be directed towards Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool this season after the esteemed Spaniard took over from Arne Slot.

After winning the Premier League title in the 2024/25 season, the Reds faced a challenging season last year, finishing fifth and trailing newly-crowned champions Arsenal by 25 points.

Liverpool’s difficulties led to Slot’s exit, with Iraola stepping in after an impressive season where he led Bournemouth to European qualification for the first time, finishing just three points behind the Merseyside club in sixth place.

Having invested significantly in the transfer market last year, Liverpool will once again be in the spotlight as Iraola aims to make an immediate impact at Anfield.

Liverpool Monitoring Fulham Star

According to Anfield Watch, Liverpool is closely monitoring Fulham winger Kevin.

The Reds have already made some changes in that position this summer following the departure of Mohamed Salah from the club.

Federico Chiesa may also be on his way out, with the club recently signing Spanish talent Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34.5m and showing interest in RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande.

Recognizing the need to enhance their wide options, Kevin has emerged as a viable target for Liverpool as they strategize for the future.

The Brazilian joined Fulham last September in a club-record £34.6m deal, signing a long-term contract until the summer of 2030, with the Cottagers holding an option to extend it for another year.

The left-winger concluded his first season in west London with three goals and four assists across 31 appearances, notably scoring in a 3-2 loss to Manchester United in February.

This season, more will be anticipated from the 23-year-old following his inaugural year in England, as Anfield Watch reveals that Liverpool has been monitoring the player since his transfer to Fulham to assess his adaptation to the Premier League.

Dario Srna’s significant prediction regarding Kevin could indeed materialize if Liverpool pursues the Fulham star.

In an interview with BBC Sport last September, after the Brazilian’s transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Fulham, Srna, the sporting director of the club, remarked that the young talent “will move to one of the biggest clubs within the next two years.”

“Fulham possesses an incredible winger; he has exceptional skills, remarkable speed, excels in one-on-one situations, and even contributes defensively,” Srna emphasized.

“Under Marco Silva, who I consider one of the top coaches in the Premier League, he will undoubtedly continue to progress. I am confident that Kevin will transition to one of the biggest clubs within the next two years.”
