Reports indicate that England international Djed Spence is eager to join Liverpool, while Tottenham Hotspur has set their asking price.

‘While he is not the only name being considered, there is definite interest, even if it is somewhat understated.’

Tottenham is asking for £35m for Liverpool target Djed Spence.

According to Tottenham reporter @szyexcl on X, Spence’s current club is looking for £35m for him this summer.

They noted: ‘It is understood that Liverpool is interested in Djed Spence. The player would be very receptive to a move to Liverpool if an offer is made. #thfc would require at least £35M.’

However, former Premier League scout Bryan King stated last month that the north London club would be “foolish” to sell Spence for anything below £50m this summer.

King remarked: “I believe he has performed well every time he has represented England. They would be unwise to let him go for £25m, that is certain.

“You wouldn’t allow him to leave for £25m. You wouldn’t even consider letting him go for less than £50m.

“We are discussing a young, current England international. It’s a scenario where Tottenham would be unwise to part with him.
