Despite the challenges faced by Feyenoord, his performances have consistently stood out. He delivered an impressive display against Manchester City in the 2024/25 Champions League, and at just 24 years old, he still has untapped potential.

This summer, he represented Algeria at the World Cup, starting in their first match against Argentina but subsequently being relegated to the bench for the remainder of the tournament.
