Micah Richards says he wanted to walk out of BBC studio after what was seen in Leeds draw vs Palace…

Micah Richards expressed his desire to leave the BBC studio after witnessing the events during the Leeds draw against Crystal Palace.

Gabriel Gudmundsson received a red card just before half-time as Leeds United took on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.

Thomas Bramall issued a second yellow card to the Swedish player in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time at Selhurst Park on 15 March.

Richards appeared visibly frustrated in the Match of the Day studio upon seeing the left-back exit the pitch right before the break.

Daniel Farke secured a point in South London as the West Yorkshire team displayed defensive resilience and determination against the Eagles, resulting in a 0-0 draw.

Gabriel Gudmundsson was unfortunate in the Leeds United draw against Crystal Palace.

Bramall seemed to overlook that Gudmundsson had already received a booking in the match, with Palace players needing to remind the referee.

The defender was booked for a second time in the match following what seemed to be a soft foul on Ismaila Sarr.

The entire incident could have been avoided, and Bramall certainly has some accountability to address.

Richards had Gudmundsson in his Fantasy Premier League lineup, and the Swedish player’s red card will undoubtedly impact his matchday points.

The left-back has been performing well for the West Yorkshire side in recent weeks, but he will likely miss the upcoming game against Brentford at Elland Road.

During an appearance on The Rest Is Football on 16 March, Richards remarked, “When [Gudmundsson] walked off the pitch, honestly, I felt like walking out of the room on Match of the Day. I was like, why?”

Daniel Farke’s defensive team selection is clear for the Brentford match.

Jayden Bogle was on the bench for Leeds at Selhurst Park, but Farke will likely reinstate him for the game against Brentford.

The Bees are set to visit West Yorkshire on 21 March, and it would be unexpected for the German manager to make significant changes for this fixture.

James Justin is capable of playing left-back while Bogle occupies the right side, and the remainder of the team could potentially stay unchanged unless fitness issues arise.

The Whites currently hold a three-point lead over the relegation zone, and the last eight league matches will be crucial for LS11.
