Arsenal is fully prepared to support Mikel Arteta in the upcoming transfer market as they strive to outperform their rivals in the title race next season.

Arsenal is prepared to support Mikel Arteta in the transfer market as they aim to improve their performance in the title race next season.

In a recent statement, co-chair Josh Kroenke emphasized the club’s commitment to progress, stating that “no one at the club will stand still.” Arsenal is already devising plans to surpass Manchester City, who have won the title four times.

This summer, the Gunners are prepared to invest once again and have set their sights on acquiring a new defender, midfielder, and striker. Securing a forward is of utmost importance, and Arsenal has expressed interest in RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. According to reports from Germany, Sesko, who netted 14 goals in the Bundesliga this season, possesses a release clause worth £55 million, which will expire at the end of June.

Despite scoring a record-breaking 91 Premier League goals this season, Arsenal recognizes the significance of bolstering their attacking options in order to end their 20-year title drought.

Sesko, standing at 6ft 4ins, presents Arsenal with a unique type of forward, and his impressive performances for Leipzig have caught the attention of scouts. However, they face stiff competition from Chelsea, Manchester United, and other European clubs for the talented 20-year-old Slovenian international.

Leipzig is hopeful that they can convince Sesko to remain in Germany for at least one more season and are reportedly prepared to offer him a new contract.

Arsenal has long held an admiration for Wolves winger Pedro Neto, and they are among the numerous clubs interested in Athletic Club forward Nico Williams. While Williams is believed to have a release clause of approximately £43m, his wages could pose a challenge in securing a potential deal.

Additionally, Arsenal has shown interest in Alexander Isak, but Newcastle is firm in their stance that the Swedish striker is not available for transfer.

In addition to their search for a new midfielder to complement Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, the Gunners are also keen on acquiring a new defender, preferably someone who can play on the left side.

Arsenal has shown interest in Ajax’s Jorrel Hato, a talented 18-year-old who has already captained his team and is highly regarded in Europe.

Furthermore, Arsenal will likely need to secure a new goalkeeper as Aaron Ramsdale is expected to depart in search of a starting position, having lost his place to David Raya.

While Newcastle is currently leading the race to sign Ramsdale, other Premier League clubs are also expected to express interest.

To solidify their squad, Arsenal is planning to make Raya’s loan move from Brentford permanent, which will require an investment of approximately £27m.

The Gunners are looking to offload players during the summer transfer window in order to increase their transfer budget. However, their financial situation will receive a boost from their progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season.

There are uncertainties surrounding the futures of Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, and Reiss Nelson. Albert Sambi Lokonga, Kieran Tierney, and Nuno Tavares, who spent this season on loan, could potentially depart permanently.

Thomas Partey, who has only one year remaining on his contract, is attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Arsenal may face challenges in retaining Jakub Kiwior, while Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny will be leaving the club on free transfers.
