Report: Liverpool is finally poised to make a new bid for Alexander Isak after reaching an agreement on personal terms.

Liverpool has approved a medical following the agreement reached this summer.

The club anticipates finalizing the transfer of Alexander Isak from Newcastle within the next ten days.

The two teams will face off in a Premier League match on Monday night, amidst ongoing tensions, but that game currently seems secondary.

The Isak situation has extended over several weeks, with Newcastle expressing frustration over Liverpool’s £110m bid for their star striker, who has yet to play this season due to his stance.

Liverpool, for their part, is exercising patience and is focused solely on acquiring Isak, rather than pursuing other striking options.

Howe acknowledges we are nearing the conclusion.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe stated on Friday that the Isak situation is approaching its resolution.

With the Swedish international steadfast in his position and refusing to sign a new contract at St. James’ Park, it appears he is available for transfer.

Newcastle’s demands need to be met, and they must also secure one or two replacements. However, the outlook is currently favorable for Liverpool following Howe’s comments.

“It seems like it is coming to a close, or it will conclude quite soon,” the Newcastle manager informed the media on Friday.

This follows a report from TEAMtalk journalist Dean Jones, indicating that a second offer from Liverpool is imminent. The Reds have not yet acted on their initial bid, but time is of the essence now.

Rather than allowing the situation to deteriorate further, Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes is on the brink of making a new offer.

Deal within reach at £120m to £130m.

“While rumors of a £150m price tag have emerged, the Reds have assessed Isak’s value to be lower than that,” the report states.

“Insiders suggest a more realistic valuation would fall within the range of £120m to £130m.

Newcastle anticipates another inquiry within the coming week and acknowledges that if Liverpool is genuinely interested, they will likely make another attempt before the deadline.

It is improbable that any developments will occur prior to Newcastle’s match against Liverpool on Monday night, but a conclusion is expected before September 1, when the transfer window closes.
