Milos Kerkez has reportedly reached an “agreement done” with Liverpool as transfer discussions are “advancing”.

It is said that Milos Kerkez has already settled personal terms with Liverpool, while negotiations for a deal with Bournemouth are viewed as “advancing.”

Following the announcement of Jeremie Frimpong’s transfer and ongoing negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz, interest in Kerkez has somewhat diminished.

However, there is still a clear intention to secure a deal for the Bournemouth left-back, who has suggested a transfer could occur after the season concludes.

Fabrizio Romano mentioned in a YouTube update that there is an “agreement done” between Kerkez and Liverpool.

The transfer journalist asserts that “the contract is ready” and “everything is OK,” with the Hungary international being “very convinced about the project” led by Arne Slot.

According to Romano, Kerkez “can’t wait to become a Liverpool player,” indicating that “the feeling is positive.”

While securing the commitment of the 21-year-old is part of the challenge, reaching an agreement with Bournemouth is crucial for the transfer.

Romano states that the two clubs are “discussing” terms, adding: “The understanding is that this deal is advancing behind the scenes.”

He concludes by saying: “The expectation is for this deal to progress quickly in the coming days, so Liverpool is quite busy.”

Kerkez is scheduled to join the Hungary squad on Sunday for friendlies against Sweden (June 6) and Azerbaijan (June 10), which may postpone a potential move to Anfield.

Nevertheless, with the groundwork already established from the player’s side, it is certainly a deal that should progress swiftly once an agreement is reached with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth, who maintain strong connections with individuals like Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards, are reported to value Kerkez at £45 million – with the left-back acknowledging interest in an interview with MLSZ TV.

“Of course, something always leaks into the news, I don’t know how,” Kerkez remarked, who has shown interest in a number of potential moves.

“Simultaneously, I believe it’s natural that when you perform well and the team excels, you gain media attention and find yourself on the front page, with everyone discussing your achievements.

“I perceive this as a source of motivation that propels me onward.

“None of this overwhelms me, nor does it inflate my ego. Instead, it instills humility in me and inspires my drive.”
