Romano announces ‘here we go’ for Arsenal winger transfer and confirms Arteta’s desire for two new forwards.

Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that a deal for Leandro Trossard to join Besiktas is now finalized, while Arsenal aims to acquire two new wingers.

So far, Arsenal’s summer transfer activities have been minimal, with Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier being their only signings ahead of the upcoming season.

Reports indicate that the Premier League champions are looking to add a new midfielder and at least one forward, while also working on player exits to generate funds.

Bruno Guimaraes and Morgan Rogers have been mentioned as possible acquisitions, and Trossard is now anticipated to join Jakub Kiwior and Karl Hein in making a permanent exit.

Trossard has been a valuable player for Arsenal in recent years, but his significance has waned, and Romano has confirmed that he is on the verge of joining Turkish club Besiktas this summer.

Romano stated on his YouTube channel: “Leandro Trossard is departing Arsenal.

“This is significant news as Leandro Trossard has been an exceptional player for Arsenal. He has consistently been available, avoided serious injuries, and has maintained a professional demeanor without causing any issues.

“He has been extremely professional, contributing goals and assists. We can only speak positively about Leandro Trossard.

“Now, the relationship between Arsenal and Trossard is coming to an end as he is set to sign a lucrative contract with Besiktas until June 2030. Here we go. The deal has been approved by the player and was agreed upon with Arsenal a few days ago.

“Arsenal will receive €18 million plus an additional €2 million in performance-related add-ons, while Besiktas has finalized the agreement with both the player and his agent.

“Trossard will travel to Istanbul tomorrow for his medical examination and to sign his contract. He will become a new winger for Besiktas and a new signing for coach Vincenzo Italiano.

Fabrizio Romano identifies two forward targets for Arsenal.

With Trossard set to leave, Arsenal is now focusing on acquiring new forwards.

Romano reports that Christos Tzolis, valued at approximately £35 million, and Morgan Rogers are the primary targets for different positions at Arsenal next season.

“Trossard’s exit signifies the start of Arsenal’s summer transfer activities,” Romano noted.

“The club is anticipated to secure a new backup winger, with Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge still firmly on the radar.

“The player is awaiting Arsenal’s decision after discussions occurred in June, and he is now eager to learn if the club will move forward.

“In addition, Arsenal aims to sign a high-caliber winger.

“Morgan Rogers is still among the top names on their list, although the situation hinges on Aston Villa, who currently value the player at around £130 million. We can expect to have much more to discuss about Arsenal in the upcoming weeks.
