Liverpool is planning to sign a €60 million striker at Anfield as part of a swap transaction.

According to reports, Liverpool aims to bring in a €60 million attacker to Anfield in exchange for another player.

Liverpool is reportedly considering a strategic move to acquire Atalanta’s star forward Ademola Lookman for €60 million in a swap deal, according to Italian outlet Quotidiano Sportivo.

As the club looks to offload Darwin Nunez this summer, they aim to enhance their attacking options.

Despite their comfortable Premier League victory this season, the Reds are eager to strengthen their squad for the next season under manager Arne Slot.

With a busy summer ahead, Liverpool plans to sign a new right-back following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure and is focused on bolstering their attack.

Lookman has thrived since joining Atalanta from RB Leipzig, scoring 20 goals and providing seven assists in 39 matches this season.

His versatility allows him to play on either wing or centrally, adding valuable depth to Liverpool’s attack.

The club had previously shown interest in him during the January transfer window, but Atalanta was reluctant to part with him mid-season.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Liverpool is set to renew their interest in the Nigerian international, with Atalanta reportedly demanding €60 million (£50.4m) for the 27-year-old.

A potential swap deal involving Federico Chiesa could be a way to minimize the cash required for this transfer.
