PSG vs Arsenal early injury news as 6 ruled out and 2 doubts for Champions League clash….

Injury updates for PSG vs Arsenal as six players are confirmed out and two are doubtful ahead of their Champions League encounter.
As Arsenal gears up for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against PSG, they are aiming for a comeback in Paris to secure a spot in the final in Munich.
The Gunners suffered a defeat in the first leg, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring the decisive goal in the first half.
Mikel Arteta’s squad faces a significant challenge to overturn the deficit, but they have previously demonstrated their ability to win away in crucial matches, as seen in their victory against Real Madrid in the last round.
As Arsenal strategizes for the match, we have compiled the latest injury news for both teams.
Presnal Kimpembe – Out
Presnel Kimpembe is out for PSG due to swelling in the second metatarsal of his right foot, and he will be resting for the next few weeks.
Ousmane Dembélé – Doubt
Ousmane Dembélé, who scored in the first leg, is doubtful after sustaining a hamstring injury, although his condition is reportedly improving.
Jorginho – Out
Jorginho is confirmed to be out for the remainder of the season, with Arteta indicating that his recovery is more complicated than initially anticipated, and he may not return to play this season.
Fortunately, he is doing well, feeling good, and recovering effectively, although it was more serious than we anticipated.
I believe it is best to let the doctor provide any clarifications or assessments.
When asked if the injury would end his season, Arteta responded: ‘I believe so, yes. If all goes well in the coming week, he should be able to gradually rejoin the team.’
Gabriel Jesus – Out
Gabriel Jesus – Out: Gabriel Jesus will miss the entire season due to a ruptured ACL, with a potential return not expected until late 2025.
A statement released at the time noted: ‘Following his substitution during the match against Manchester United, extensive evaluations confirmed that Gabriel has suffered an injury to the ACL in his left knee.’
Takehiro Tomiyasu – Out
Takehiro Tomiyasu – Out: Tomiyasu is also sidelined for the season after undergoing additional knee surgery.
A statement indicated: ‘Despite an initial procedure and subsequent RTT, Tomi continued to experience knee issues, necessitating further corrective surgery.
He will now commence his rehabilitation program, which is anticipated to conclude by the end of this year.’
Kai Havertz – Out
Havertz may have a chance to return this season, although it appears to be a tight timeline. Arteta commented before the Bournemouth match regarding the German’s potential return: ‘I believe so.
If everything continues as planned, he should have an opportunity to participate in a few matches this season.’ Gabriel Magalhaes – Out: Gabriel is out for the remainder of the season.
A statement confirmed: ‘Gabi will undergo surgical repair on his hamstring in the coming days and will immediately start his recovery and rehabilitation program, aiming to be ready for the beginning of next season.’
Riccardo Calafiori – Doubt
Riccardo Calafiori – Doubt: Arteta did not provide an extensive update on Calafiori’s condition but confirmed he would miss the Bournemouth match, stating: ‘Yes, Calafiori is out.’
Given the quick turnaround, it seems unlikely that the Italian will be available for this match, but he remains a doubt for now.
