Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool has reached an ‘agreement’ with PSG to acquire Barcola for .

PSG makes a new decision regarding Barcola’s asking price as Romano discloses Liverpool’s ‘agreement’.

Reports indicate that Liverpool has been informed that Paris Saint-Germain is open to considering offers below their initial asking price for Bradley Barcola.

The Reds have already secured Victor Munoz from Osasuna during the summer transfer window as they aim to enhance their attacking capabilities for the upcoming season.

Centre-backs Jeremy Jacquet and Ronald Araujo have also been added to the squad from Rennes and Barcelona, respectively – yet Liverpool continues to seek additional wingers to compensate for the exit of Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool had shown interest in acquiring Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, but it became evident that he preferred to join either PSG or Real Madrid.

This led the Reds to shift their focus to Barcola, as the France international has seen his standing diminish at the Parc des Princes under Luis Enrique.

Reports suggest that Liverpool has been working to finalize an agreement with PSG for several weeks, but the Ligue 1 champions are reportedly asking for around £130m (€152m) for the French player.

Now, a report from French outlet Jeunes Footeux states that PSG is offering a ‘discount’ on their initial asking price for Barcola, presenting Liverpool with a ‘gift’ from the French club.

The report further notes: ‘For an extended period, PSG had set the minimum asking price at €150 million. However, the club’s recent signings may alter this stance. Paris is now said to be open to offers ranging from €130 to €140 million. While this represents a relative discount, it underscores the significant value that the Parisian management places on Barcola.

‘Will this small gesture encourage Liverpool to intensify their pursuit of Barcola? It’s certainly a possibility. However, one thing remains clear: PSG is under no obligation to sell and will not be more “generous” in their negotiations.’

Liverpool is optimistic about Barcola – Romano

In a recent YouTube video, Fabrizio Romano provided an encouraging update, indicating that a deal for Barcola is expected to “accelerate” as Liverpool is actively “pushing” to finalize it.

Romano stated: “Regarding Paris Saint-Germain, both Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye were not even included on the bench. What does this imply, everyone?

“The anticipation is that both players will depart, as Paris Saint-Germain already boasts a strong front line with Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ferran Torres, Mika Goots, and Maghnes Akliouche – six exceptional talents. Currently, the expectation is for Barcola and Mbaye to leave.

“Liverpool is in talks for Barcola. Liverpool is confident about Barcola. Liverpool is making efforts for Barcola.

“I foresee this deal gaining momentum. Starting Monday, we will enter critical phases of the negotiations. While discussions will persist, Liverpool has reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with Bradley Barcola and is eager to expedite the process. Therefore, the deal is definitely on track.
