BREAKING: Arsenal has arranged the FINAL round of negotiations this week concerning the transfer of the £68m star. The forthcoming discussions are believed to be the crucial phase between the clubs.

Arsenal is set to present a total package valued at just under £68m!

Report: Arsenal is now preparing a bid for the £68m star, as Mikel Arteta aims to secure him before the pre-season tour.

Arsenal is already making notable strides behind the scenes in their pursuit of top transfer targets this summer.

New Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is diligently working behind the scenes to identify the ideal striker, the best left winger, and more.

While Arsenal has already acquired Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, there remains considerable work to be done before Mikel Arteta’s team can truly contend for the Premier League title.

Kai Havertz has the potential to spearhead a title challenge, but he will undoubtedly require support, and Arsenal appears to have determined that his new partner will either be Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko.

Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is also being considered, but the England international is regarded as the third-choice option, partly due to his nearing 30 years of age.

Arsenal is prepared to make another offer to secure Viktor Gyokeres.

That said, reports from Portugal now indicate that Gyokeres is becoming Arsenal’s top candidate to join Havertz next season.

Correio da Manha is now reporting that Arsenal is getting ready to submit another offer to acquire Gyokeres from Sporting CP.

It was reported in Portugal just over a week ago that Arsenal had made an initial offer for Gyokeres, and it appears that the Gunners will return with a more competitive proposal.

Interestingly, the latest report also specifies that Arteta wishes to have Gyokeres on board in time for Arsenal’s pre-season tour of Asia.

Arsenal will travel to Singapore late next month to face AC Milan and Newcastle United, and it is expected that players like Zubimendi will be involved.

However, if reports are accurate, Gyokeres may soon join the Spaniard in Arsenal’s traveling squad.

Regarding Gyokeres’ valuation, TBR Football has previously indicated that Sporting might demand £68m this summer.

Arsenal must learn from their Raheem Sterling error.

The summer before last, when Arsenal acquired Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and Declan Rice, all three players participated in the club’s pre-season tour to the United States.

Edu Gaspar and Arteta completed their business early, which proved invaluable for all three players to acclimate and bond ahead of the new season.

Considering that Arsenal is set to make several major signings this summer, it would be wise to replicate that strategy.

Currently, Arsenal is pursuing Rodrygo from Real Madrid, a situation that may extend well into the summer as the Brazilian is participating in the Club World Cup.

However, there should be no reason why Berta cannot manage the majority of Arsenal’s transactions before the end of next month.

While Arsenal does not regret their last-minute Raheem Sterling deal from last summer, it is certainly a scenario the club should strive to avoid repeating.
