Arsenal’s lineup against Crystal Palace: confirmed team news and injury updates for today’s Premier League match.

Mikel Arteta faces significant selection decisions ahead of the Champions League semi-final against PSG, particularly regarding Bukayo Saka.

The England winger is available for selection as Arsenal prepares to host Crystal Palace this evening.

Saka had to leave the pitch before the 60-minute mark during the Gunners’ 4-0 victory at Portman Road on Sunday, after Ipswich defender Leif Davis, who received a red card, tackled him from behind, impacting his ankle.

Although Saka was seen with ice on his Achilles post-match, Arteta has confirmed his fitness.

‘We will monitor how he responds after training, but it doesn’t appear to be serious,’ Arteta stated on Tuesday.

‘If all goes well, he should have a good chance to play tomorrow.’ However, Arsenal will be missing Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori due to injuries.

Jorginho is dealing with a rib issue, while Calafiori has a knee problem. ‘Ricky is out, and unfortunately, so is Jorgi,’ Arteta mentioned.

‘I expect Jorgi to be sidelined for several weeks.’ The match against Crystal Palace is Arsenal’s last fixture before they face Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

As a result, Arteta is likely to make adjustments to his squad, having already made three changes for the trip to Ipswich on Sunday.

Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko were among those changes, stepping in as full-backs.

Arteta may consider reversing that decision this time, potentially giving Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly some playing time ahead of the PSG match.

Leandro Trossard, who scored twice against Ipswich, could also earn another start, while Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, and Takehiro Tomiyasu remain long-term absentees.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Nwaneri, Merino, Trossard. Injured players include Calafiori (knee), Gabriel (hamstring), Havertz (hamstring), Jesus (knee), Jorginho (ribs), and Tomiyasu.
