According to El Nacional, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk wants to move to Barcelona next summer and is ready to offer his services to the Catalans. The source links this information to The Independent.
“Van Dijk can bring leadership and vast experience to the Barcelona dressing room. Despite his advanced age, he is still playing at a high level. Furthermore, there will be no need to pay a transfer fee for him, which makes the option even more attractive,” the report says.
At the same time, it is reported that Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick does not particularly favor this option.
Next summer, Virgil van Dijk will turn 36 years old.
