(Video) Witness the reactions of Mo Salah and Andy Robertson to the enthusiastic post-match appreciation at Anfield.

Mo Salah and Andy Robertson were clearly aware of the high regard in which Liverpool fans hold them following the victory over Fulham on Saturday.

The two veteran players made their first appearance at Anfield since announcing their departures at the end of the season, with the Egyptian revealing his shocking news in late March and the Scot following suit earlier this week.

Since joining LFC in 2017, they have contributed to two Premier League title victories, a Champions League win, and several other cup triumphs, amassing a total of 811 appearances for the club as of today.

Salah and Robertson received a warm serenade at Anfield.

Just after the final whistle, both Salah and Robertson took a lap of appreciation around the pitch at Anfield, celebrating a crucial victory for Liverpool.

The Anfield crowd first serenaded the Egyptian, singing his signature chant to the melody of ‘Sit Down’ by James, which was met with applause from the winger.

Next, it was the Scottish left-back’s moment to bask in the affection of the Kopites, as he too acknowledged the crowd with a clap before raising his arm in salute.

Let’s cherish Salah and Robertson while we still have the chance.

Unless there’s an unlikely turnaround against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night, Salah and Robertson will each have only four more matches at Anfield, assuming they participate in all of them, with the latter often being overshadowed by Milos Kerkez this season.

It’s still difficult to comprehend that this long-serving duo will no longer be part of Liverpool once the current season concludes, as both have become integral figures during the Jurgen Klopp era and have evolved into key leaders in the dressing room since Arne Slot took over two years ago.

Both individuals are outstanding professionals who have significantly contributed to raising standards within the team, particularly in recent years as they emerged as leaders whom younger players and new recruits admire.

It is only fitting that the supporters at Anfield have the opportunity to express their heartfelt gratitude for Salah and Robertson while they still can. Regardless of the outcome against Brentford on May 24, it will be an emotional event as Kopites bid farewell to two contemporary legends in L4.
