A journalist has confirmed that Liverpool holds ‘appreciation’ for the 25-year-old wing talent.

Ben Jacobs, a journalist, has stated that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the PSG winger, is valued by those at Liverpool.

As Mohamed Salah approaches the twilight of his career with Liverpool, the Premier League club is actively seeking market options to find his successor.

Several players have been associated with the Merseyside team as potential replacements for Salah.

Names such as Anthony Gordon, Bradley Barcola, and Michael Olise have been frequently mentioned in recent media reports.

Nevertheless, a new contender has emerged on Liverpool’s radar: PSG winger Kvaratskhelia.

Liverpool values the 25-year-old Georgian winger.

During a discussion on GiveMeSport, Jacobs remarked:

“Certainly, there is appreciation for players like Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue, and Kvaratskhelia, among others, from various clubs.

“However, will any of them be permitted to leave PSG? At this moment, I have no signs indicating that a sale is imminent, and Liverpool is quite shrewd. They typically avoid pursuing lost causes unless they believe the players are truly available.”

Jacobs acknowledged that PSG is not currently looking to sell Barcola, Doue, or Kvaratskhelia, despite Liverpool’s interest.

PSG consistently competes for the top honors in football, and Kvaratskhelia plays a vital role in their squad.

They made a significant investment to acquire him from Napoli, which has proven beneficial for both the player and the club.

Replacing Salah will be a challenging endeavor.

Salah has been a cornerstone of Liverpool’s attack throughout his tenure at the club.

It would not be an exaggeration to claim that his offensive prowess led Liverpool to the league title last season.

However, his performance this season has been less than stellar, and mid-season conflicts with manager Arne Slot have drastically altered the dynamics.

Salah has already declared his intention to leave the club, leaving Liverpool with the formidable challenge of finding a replacement.

Wide players rarely achieve the same scoring success as Salah has during his tenure at Anfield. His exceptional goal-scoring ability, combined with his creativity, has saved Liverpool from difficult situations on many occasions.

The Reds might need to seek out two players to fill the void left by the Egyptian forward.
