Report: “World-class” winger open to salary reduction for Arsenal transfer, Arteta keen on him.

A world-class winger is considering a salary decrease for the opportunity to join Arsenal, and Arteta is eager to have him on the team.

Arsenal is poised to finalize a significant summer acquisition in Leroy Sane, as reports suggest the German winger may be willing to accept a pay cut to join Mikel Arteta’s squad amid his diminishing contract situation at Bayern Munich.

Sane has been frequently linked with a departure from Vincent Kompany’s team, especially with his contract expiring during the summer transfer window.

With multiple clubs showing interest, the Germany international could make a return to the Premier League, with Arsenal emerging as a likely destination, as he is reportedly ‘willing’ to lower his salary.

Report: Sane ‘Open’ to Salary Reduction for Arsenal Move.

The winger may leave Bayern Munich on a free transfer this summer.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Arsenal is keen on acquiring Sane this summer, as negotiations with Bayern have stalled.

The winger could potentially leave on a free transfer since his contract concludes at the end of June.

Consequently, the report indicates that Sane might be prepared to accept a pay cut from his current €20 million-per-year (£17 million) salary at the Allianz Arena to facilitate a move to north London and reunite with Arteta.

Arteta is familiar with Sane, having served as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City, where the German enjoyed some of his most successful years.

The Spanish manager is eager for a reunion with the dynamic winger.

Arsenal’s interest in Sane, who has been labeled ‘world-class’ by national team coach Julian Nagelsmann, is described as substantial, particularly after Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli faced significant injury setbacks this season.

Sane would be a valuable addition to the squad as the Gunners aim for silverware for the first time in five years.

The Premier League title chase has eluded Arsenal this season, as Liverpool has surged ahead with a 15-point lead.

This situation is particularly disappointing for Arteta’s squad, especially after they closely contested Manchester City in the previous two seasons, with the title race extending to the final day last May.

Sane would be an excellent addition to their team, having secured the Premier League title twice in three seasons with City before returning to Germany to join Bayern.

He would serve as an ideal complement on either wing, especially in the absence of Saka or Martinelli.
