“There has been considerable discussion surrounding Marc Guehi; they missed the opportunity in the summer, and now various clubs are showing interest in him.

“Initially, it seemed almost certain that he would join Liverpool in January, but that no longer appears to be the case as he has received attention from other clubs.

“It’s not surprising that clubs like Real Madrid are interested in him now; he’s the starting centre-back for England and will be available for free.

“However, I’ve always believed that Liverpool might attempt to secure him in January, even if it’s not a guarantee anymore.

“He is undoubtedly the best option available right now, and he can be acquired for £35 million or less, which is an excellent price for a defender of his caliber.

“Given the challenges they’ve faced in defense recently, I anticipate they’ll be even more eager to finalize that deal as quickly as possible.”
