Worrying development as Liverpool star removes all Reds references from X account…

Concerning news as Liverpool player eliminates all Reds mentions from his X account.

Liverpool player Mohamed Salah has made the curious decision to remove references to the club from his X (formerly Twitter) profile.

The Egyptian international was benched last night by Liverpool manager Arne Slot as the Reds finally returned to winning form with a 5-1 victory away against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Salah is typically a guaranteed starter for Liverpool, but he has been struggling with his performance this season, and it appears Slot is now willing to exclude him from significant matches.

This may not have been received well by Salah himself, as he has removed any mention of Liverpool from his X account, opting instead for a photo of himself with his family.

Could this signal the beginning of the end for Mohamed Salah at Liverpool?

Salah had an outstanding season for Liverpool last year, delivering one of his best performances for the Reds as they clinched the Premier League title.

At 33 years old, however, it seems we may have witnessed Salah’s peak, as he is no longer impacting games as he once did.

Currently, Salah has only three goals and three assists this season, which, while not terrible, falls short of his usual standards.

Last season, the former Roma player concluded with an impressive 34 goals and 23 assists across all competitions, and a significant decline in form was not anticipated.

Perhaps Salah can still regain his form, but even the greatest players begin to decline with age, and if he is unhappy with his role on the bench, his time at Anfield could come to an unexpectedly swift conclusion.

Salah signed a new two-year contract just last April, but it will be intriguing to observe his situation in January if he continues to remain sidelined.
