Liverpool fans demand Slot sack as sources reveal truths on contract talks…

Liverpool supporters are calling for Slot’s dismissal as reports emerge regarding contract negotiations.

Following their worst performance streak in over a decade, some fans believe it’s time for Slot to be replaced, particularly criticizing his tactical decisions and team selections during the home loss to Manchester United.

“Slot’s 4-2-4 formation was nonsensical! He’s ruining our season – fire him!” one fan expressed.

Another supporter concurred, stating: “Slot’s lost his way! His strategies are detrimental to us – leave now!”

A third fan added: “Slot’s game strategy is terrible – giving United goals like it’s a charity!”

A fourth remarked that this is unprecedented, saying: “Slot’s formation has failed again – he’s damaging Liverpool with his foolish tactics!”

Simultaneously, a well-regarded journalist asserts that the Reds’ style of play resembles Ange Postecoglou’s reckless Tottenham Hotspur method, rather than the PSG style he was expected to emulate.

Concerns regarding Slot’s future arise following last week’s reports that the club was prepared to initiate discussions about extending the contract of the former Feyenoord manager, which is set to last at Anfield until 2027.

Nevertheless, our reporter Dean Jones maintains that the plans to prolong Slot’s tenure are not entirely off the table, indicating that there are intentions for the Dutchman to hopefully have a long and prosperous period at Anfield.

When questioned about whether Liverpool still intends to engage in discussions with the 47-year-old regarding a potential new contract, the transfer insider responded: “I have been informed that early, preliminary contact has already been established to initiate more formal discussions about extending his contract and how that might unfold, so it is a gradual process that is expected to become more active throughout this season.

“They will support him and hope for a turnaround so that everyone is satisfied with the progress being made, allowing them to secure a long-term future.”

Football finance specialist Stefan Borson, on the other hand, finds it unexpected that the Reds are aiming to prolong his contract.

In an interview with Football Insider, Borson remarked: “I suppose it’s somewhat surprising [that Liverpool are seeking to extend Slot’s contract], but he did secure the league title in his inaugural season.

“They clearly supported him quite strongly, indicating they have considerable confidence in him, and why shouldn’t they?

“I believe the present downturn is rather insignificant in the context of the larger picture. It’s merely a minor dip.
