Trent Alexander-Arnold is cleared to finalize his reunion with Liverpool following an update from Real Madrid.

The Real Madrid player Trent Alexander-Arnold is in the process of recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained last month, as the La Liga team prepares to face Liverpool in the Champions League.

Alexander-Arnold aims to return to action for Real Madrid before they meet Liverpool in the Champions League.

Reports indicate that the former Liverpool full-back’s recovery from his hamstring injury is progressing well, making an appearance at Anfield on November 4 a realistic possibility.

Real Madrid has four matches scheduled before their visit to Merseyside, and Alexander-Arnold is reportedly hopeful of making his comeback towards the end of this stretch.

Initially, he was given a six-week recovery timeline and has already been sidelined for four weeks.

The Los Blancos defender was heartbroken after sustaining an injury in the early moments of the Champions League game against Marseille last month.

This injury added to a challenging start to his tenure in Spain’s capital.

Before his injury, Alexander-Arnold had secured a spot in the Real Madrid starting lineup, but Xabi Alonso chose to utilize club captain Dani Carvajal upon his return from a significant knee injury.

The lack of playing time has impacted Alexander-Arnold’s chances of being included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad in September.

Now, Alexander-Arnold must demonstrate both his fitness and skill to secure a position in both teams in the upcoming weeks. Returning to his hometown club will undoubtedly present a challenging task.

The Liverpool academy graduate is expected to receive a hostile welcome upon his return to Merseyside, having opted to decline a new contract with the club in favor of a move to the Bernabeu.

Liverpool received a £10 million fee for allowing him to leave early to participate in the Club World Cup.

“It was one of the hardest decisions of my life. Liverpool is my home; it made me who I am.

But Madrid felt like the right step, at the right time,” Alexander-Arnold shared with GQ Espana when reflecting on his departure from Liverpool.

It was driven by ambition and a personal longing for transformation. To push myself in a different setting.

Certainly, the legacy of Real Madrid is irrefutable. However, what truly drew me in was my ambition and the eagerness to challenge myself in unfamiliar surroundings.

“It’s a challenge, yet one I embrace. Competing at the Bernabeu is a revered experience. You can sense the significance of the jersey, but that’s what motivates you to give your utmost effort.”

Alexander-Arnold encountered jeers from Liverpool fans after revealing his intention to leave before the season concluded.

The response he garnered was mixed among supporters, but there was evident frustration.

He was met with a warmer reception during his final match against Crystal Palace, and he appeared emotional in the moments on the field following the final whistle.
