Michael Olise’s substantial asking price disclosed following Liverpool news.

Bayern Munich has set a valuation of £100million for Michael Olise, amid interest from Liverpool and various other elite clubs, according to sources cited by Football Insider.

Since his transfer from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich for £50.8million last summer, Olise’s career has been on a remarkable rise, achieving 20 goals and 23 assists in his inaugural season.

As I mentioned in the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, several of Europe’s leading clubs are eager to acquire Olise in the forthcoming transfer windows, with Liverpool currently at the forefront.

Liverpool has pinpointed Olise as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, who is contemplating his future beyond Anfield, but my sources indicate that Bayern will make every effort to retain him.

According to Football Insider, Bayern will insist on a minimum of £100million for Olise, who is contracted until 2029, and this “huge” price tag is expected to rise in the future.

Liverpool’s interest in Olise hinges on Salah’s decision regarding his exit after he recently signed a new contract at Anfield, but it remains uncertain whether other clubs will surpass the Reds in this pursuit.

“It’s not just Liverpool that will be monitoring Michael Olise – his career trajectory is continually ascending,” I disclosed on the latest Inside Track podcast when discussing the interest in Bayern’s number 17.

“All major European clubs will have their eyes on Michael Olise, but securing him from Bayern will not be straightforward.

“He is under contract with the German club until 2029, and Bayern Munich will be reluctant to part with him; acquiring him will require a significant financial outlay. You’re looking at £100million for Bayern to consider a sale.”

Bayern Munich receives transfer advantage from Liverpool’s competitors.

Olise’s impressive performance since his arrival in Munich has certainly validated Bayern’s efforts to potentially double their investment if they decide to sell the 23-year-old in the future, following the German giants’ own transfer activities.

Bayern acquired Luis Diaz from Liverpool for £60 million and finalized a loan-to-buy agreement for Nicolas Jackson late in the transfer window, with Chelsea poised to receive a total of £70 million if he makes a permanent move next summer.

Uli Hoeness has dampened the likelihood of this by disclosing the conditions in Bayern’s obligation to purchase Jackson, which could lead to his return to Stamford Bridge, thereby saving them a £56.2 million transfer fee.

This development will be beneficial for Bayern’s financial situation and enhances their chances of keeping Olise in the future, or it may enable them to elevate his price tag even beyond the stated £100 million figure.
