Report: 40-goal striker just sent come and get me plea to Liverpool…
A striker with 40 goals has just issued a plea for Liverpool to consider signing him.
This prolific 40-goal striker has reminded Liverpool of his availability.
The Reds are actively seeking to acquire a new forward to enhance Arne Slot’s attacking options.
With Darwin Nunez likely to depart, and the potential exits of Federico Chiesa and even Luis Diaz on the table, Liverpool must secure at least one new striker, possibly two.
Who that new striker will be is still uncertain.
Liverpool has identified Alexander Isak as their ideal target. Additionally, they are contemplating a move for Hugo Ekitike.
However, these are not the only players on the club’s radar. Richard Hughes is also pursuing another promising forward, who has recently reminded the club of his impressive skills.
The 40-goal striker has made a direct appeal to Liverpool.
As previously reported, Liverpool has begun discussions to sign Will Wright from Salford City.
The 17-year-old forward stands at an impressive 6 foot 3 and has already made his senior debut, including an appearance against Manchester City in the FA Cup.
Wright scored over 40 goals at the academy level last season, and he is anticipated to have a breakout year this season.
Where that will take place is still to be determined. Currently, he is training with Salford’s first team and has sent a timely reminder of his capabilities to the Reds.
In a pre-season friendly against FC United of Manchester, Wright netted two goals in a 2-2 draw.
The first was a straightforward finish inside the box, while the second highlighted his exceptional talent.
Wright collected the ball around the halfway line of the opponent’s half, maneuvering through a crowd of defenders, outpacing one and then another, before delivering a remarkable shot that found the back of the net.
It was an extraordinary finish, and the fact that Wright’s goals secured a draw for Salford underscores what a remarkable young talent he is. He is already making a significant impact at the senior level.
