Real Madrid’s sensational move to sign a star player alongside Mbappe has caused a major headache for Arsenal…
Arsenal faces a challenge from Real Madrid as they secure a blockbuster move to add a new Galactico alongside Mbappe.
Real Madrid’s pursuit of William Saliba has put Arsenal in a difficult position as the Spanish giants are reportedly willing to spend a significant portion of their summer budget to bring the French defender to the Bernabeu alongside his compatriot Kylian Mbappe.
This upcoming season looks set to be a momentous one for Los Blancos, as they have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they will face Bayern Munich, the team that eliminated Arsenal. Additionally, they currently sit at the top of LaLiga with an eight-point lead over Barcelona.
Despite the possibility of winning their 36th Primera Liga title and securing a record-breaking 15th Champions League trophy, Real Madrid is already making serious plans to further strengthen their squad for the next season.
To commence proceedings, the LaLiga giants are poised to officially declare the acquisition of Kylian Mbappe, who will depart PSG as a free agent and ink a presumed five-year contract at the Bernabeu.
The current World Cup champion, widely regarded as the finest player in the world at present, may, however, have to postpone the announcement regarding his next club, particularly if his PSG team potentially faces his new employers in the Champions League final this season.
Nevertheless, a deal to bring him to the Bernabeu has been in progress for quite some time now. The arrival of Mbappe is anticipated to initiate what has been labeled as a fresh era of Galacticos at Real Madrid, with esteemed global talents Jude Bellingham and Vini Jnr already part of their roster.
Real Madrid is not only interested in Mbappe, but they are also reportedly eyeing Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies.
Huge fans of William Saliba, Real Madrid is now rumored to be planning a major move for the Arsenal star.
According to HITC, Ancelotti is keen on having Saliba join the growing French contingent in Madrid, alongside potential signings like Mbappe, Camavinga, and Tchouameni.
The need for a new center-back has become urgent for Real Madrid this summer, as injuries have forced them to rely on Nacho, Rudiger, and others in that position.
Real Madrid may need to spend over €100m (£85.5m) to initiate negotiations with Arsenal, as reported. Real Madrid scouts have been highly impressed with the young French star, considering him one of the standout defenders in world football.
Saliba, born in Bondy, grew up admiring Real Madrid, with Cristiano Ronaldo posters on his walls. Mikel Arteta would fiercely defend his star defender, now considered one of the best in the Premier League.
Arsenal is unlikely to entertain any offers for him, as they are expected to firmly reject any potential interest from Real Madrid.
Despite being loaned out initially, he has made a significant impact in the past two seasons and was even given a contract extension last summer, securing his stay at the club until 2027.
The Arsenal manager has praised his performance, labeling him as “brilliant” and “exceptional” after making 44 appearances and scoring two goals this season.
