Liverpool have agreed to the terms necessary to secure the signing of ‘elite’ £100m star Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to a report by Football Insider.

The Reds have had a relatively quiet transfer window thus far after appointing Andoni Iraola as the new manager, with only Victor Munoz joining the squad at this point, while several key players have left the club.

However, Liverpool anticipates a busy transfer period ahead, with significant changes expected, and one player they are eager to acquire is the Moroccan talent who has impressed during the World Cup.

Liverpool Prepared to Accept Bouaddi Loan Back

Bouaddi, labeled as ‘elite’, has excelled at the World Cup representing Morocco after opting to play for them instead of France just before the tournament.

The young midfielder has been a consistent performer for Lille over the past two seasons and is regarded as one of Europe’s top midfield prospects. Lille is aware that he will eventually depart but prefers to retain him for at least another season.

As a result, they have stipulated that any agreement reached this summer must include a loan-back clause, ensuring he remains in France regardless of the completion of the transfer.

Initially, Liverpool was hesitant, given Lille’s demand for a fee nearing £100m following the high-profile sales of Elliot Anderson and Sandro Tonali earlier in the window for nine-figure amounts. However, it has now come to light that they are prepared to accept these conditions to finalize the deal ahead of their competitors.

The completion of any agreement is expected to be a close call due to his involvement in this summer’s tournament and the level of interest from other clubs, but Liverpool is firmly in contention.

Bouaddi as a Long-Term Investment

While Bouaddi is certainly capable of making an immediate impact in the Liverpool squad, the appeal of securing him lies in his youth and immense potential for growth.

It is clear that any team that signs him will secure a long-term option for their midfield. Liverpool is aware that with Curtis Jones potentially departing within the next year, along with rumors surrounding Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai’s exits, acquiring him would be an ideal solution to these concerns.

Bouaddi is a rising star, and Liverpool is prepared to make significant concessions to integrate him into the squad at Anfield.
