Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has informed PSG of his desire to play in the premier league as revealed by David Ornstein
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ‘Open’ to PSG Exit — Liverpool Could Revisit Interest
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could reportedly leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with the Georgian winger’s camp said to be “open” to the possibility of a transfer — just 14 months after Liverpool were linked with him.
Liverpool identified Kvaratskhelia as a potential target in January 2025 when he was looking to leave Napoli. However, the Reds viewed the 25-year-old as an attractive market opportunity rather than a priority signing.
The winger eventually completed a £59 million move to PSG.
Now, according to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Kvaratskhelia’s representatives are reportedly “open to the idea” of the player leaving Paris at the end of the season.
Arsenal have been linked with the attacker, while Liverpool could also be one to watch given their expected need for a major attacking signing this summer.
Mohamed Salah’s departure would leave Liverpool needing an elite replacement on the right, while the left wing could also require reinforcement following Luis Diaz’s exit and Cody Gakpo’s inconsistent spell in that position.
Kvaratskhelia’s PSG numbers
The Georgian has made 69 appearances, scoring 20 goals and providing 15 assists since joining PSG. He has also contributed 10 goals and six assists in 20 Champions League appearances.
His ability to play on either wing — and even operate through the middle when required — makes his versatility particularly attractive.
PSG’s stance
Despite the reports surrounding his future, PSG are understood to have a firm stance on the player. The club reportedly considers Kvaratskhelia a “jewel” of its current project and would therefore be reluctant to sanction his departure.
His contract runs until 2029, while Transfermarkt currently values him at around €90 million (£77.9m).
Liverpool have shown they are willing to spend huge fees for elite talent, having recently paid around £125m for Alexander Isak and £116m for Florian Wirtz.
If Kvaratskhelia genuinely becomes available, Liverpool could therefore have a major decision to make.
