According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, this permanent transfer is unlikely to occur, as Liverpool currently lacks the financial resources to secure Gusto on a permanent basis.

Today, Liverpool made a last-ditch attempt to sign Malo Gusto on loan, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful.

The Reds were only open to a loan deal without a mandatory buy clause, while Chelsea was advocating for a permanent transfer.
