With Arsenal actively looking for ways to improve their attack, Ngumoha has very quickly emerged as an exciting target for the Gunners.

After an impressive breakout season, Ngumoha’s minutes may not be certain after Liverpool brought Bradley Barcola to Anfield for a £123 million fee. With Barcola, Cody Gakpo and Victor Munoz, Ngumoha may not get the minutes he needs to develop.

Speaking on The Athletic Football Podcast and relayed by TheKopTimes, David Ornstein confirmed that Arsenal are keeping an eye on the situation. Ornstein clarified that Ngumoha has not pushed to leave Anfield, with his current contract valid until 2028.

Arsenal trying to lure him away will remain a difficult task, with many other clubs interested. Over the summer both Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig tried to sign the teenager, but Liverpool rejected every inquiry.

Everything now falls to the number of minutes Ngumoha gets to develop his game. If the teenager cannot get the minutes he requires, Arsenal will look to test Liverpool and try to sign the player.

Considering that Arsenal only made one attacking signing during the summer transfer window, there is space for Ngumoha to push Christos Tzolis and Eberechi Eze to start games.

Over the last two seasons Arsenal have played a lot of academy prospects that were good enough to play games. Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly were the first that broke into Mikel Arteta’s squad during the 2024/25 season.

Recently, Marli Salmon has made many appearances in preseason games and also in many cup competitions as well. This shows that if Ngumoha was to join the Gunners, he will have many opportunities to play and develop his game.
