Elon Musk’s Interest in Liverpool Acquisition: Price Set and Team Lineup Unveiled

Elon Musk Makes Headlines with Liverpool Purchase: Acquisition Price Confirmed and Star Player Roster Unveiled!

Elon Musk, the owner of X and Tesla, is reportedly interested in acquiring Liverpool from their current American owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG).

With a net worth estimated at around £279 billion, Musk aims to expand his influence in the world of football.

His father, Errol Musk, shared insights into Elon’s aspirations during an interview with Times Radio, stating, “I can’t comment on that, they’ll raise the price.

Oh yes, he has expressed a desire, but that doesn’t mean he’s buying it. He would like to, yes, obviously.

Anyone would want to – so would I! His grandmother was born in Liverpool, and we have relatives there.

We were fortunate to know many of the Beatles, as they grew up with some of my family. So, we have a connection to Liverpool.”

Elon Musk’s ties to Liverpool run deep, as his paternal grandmother, Cora Robinson, was born in the city.

Errol Musk recounted family holidays spent in Liverpool, recalling, “The first time I took Elon to England, he was six years old.

He loved going to Wimbledon and enjoyed picking strawberries in the summer fruit fields.” He also shared a memorable incident when Elon wandered off from a playground in Wirral, leading to a significant police search before he was found safe ten miles away.

Should Musk’s interest in purchasing Liverpool materialize, it could pose challenges for Arsenal and other clubs in the transfer market, given his substantial financial resources.

A significant portion of the Premier League, including clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, is owned by American investors. Additionally, there has been a notable interest from celebrities in the English football scene, exemplified by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s investment in Wrexham.

Elon Musk has previously made light of his desire to acquire a Premier League club. When questioned about his political affiliations, the tech mogul stated that he aligns with the left of the Republican Party and the right of the Democratic Party, later humorously adding in a follow-up tweet: “Also, I’m buying Manchester United; you are welcome.”

When pressed on whether he was serious, Musk clarified: “No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams.

“However, if I were to choose a team, it would be Manchester United, as they were my favorite team during my childhood.”
