BREAKING :Liverpool boss Arne Slot ‘handed extended ban’ as punishment confirmed for Michael Oliver incident. FA officially release statement on Arne Slot punishment…

The FA has officially announced the punishment for Liverpool manager Arne Slot.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has received an extended ban following the incident involving referee Michael Oliver.
The FA has confirmed that Arne Slot will be sidelined for several matches due to this disciplinary action.
In an official statement, the FA revealed that Liverpool’s head coach, Arne Slot, will be suspended from the touchline for a period of time as a result of his actions during a recent match.
The chaos erupted during the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park when Everton’s James Tarkowski scored a last-minute goal, leading to referee Michael Oliver issuing four red cards after the match concluded.
Among those dismissed were Slot and his assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, who were penalized for their heated reactions towards the officiating team.
Following a thorough investigation into the incident, the FA has confirmed that both Slot and Hulshoff will serve an extended ban, which will see them miss significant upcoming matches.
Liverpool is set to face Newcastle United at Anfield on Wednesday night, but they will do so without their manager and assistant, as the FA has imposed a two-match suspension on both.
This suspension will also affect their participation in the Premier League match against Southampton on March 8.
The FA communicated the decision via social media, stating: “An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Everton, Liverpool, Arne Slot, and Sipke Hulshoff in relation to the Premier League fixture between the clubs on Wednesday, February 12.”
The details of the ban were further elaborated by journalist Paul Joyce from The Times, who reported: “Arne Slot will begin a two-match touchline ban starting tonight against Newcastle United as a consequence of his confrontation with match officials following the Everton game.
He has also been fined £70,000. Assistant Sipke Hulshoff will serve a two-match ban and has been fined £7,000.”
Everton and Liverpool have been penalized £65,000 and £50,000, respectively, for not managing their players’ conduct effectively.
The suspension indicates that Slot will return to the sidelines for Liverpool during their significant Carabao Cup final match against Newcastle United on March 16.
