: Arsenal receives the green light for Viktor Gyökeres

“Arsenal [are] definitely first choice for Viktor Gyokeres, and he is first choice for Arsenal .”

Personal terms have been agreed, the only disagreement remains the fee, with Arsenal willing to pay around €70 million, although Sporting CP are holding out for €85m.

Arsenal is shifting its focus to Viktor Gyökeres in the upcoming transfer window, and it appears the Gunners have just been granted permission to acquire the striker.

Viktor Gyökeres paves the way for an Arsenal transfer as a top priority this summer.

Manchester United remains interested in case the Arsenal deal falls through, but they now believe Gyökeres has made his preference clear.

Arsenal has engaged in talks with Benjamin Šeško while also reaching out to Gyökeres, but no decision has been made yet.

According to Portuguese media, Arsenal is ‘best positioned’ to finalize the signing of Viktor Gyökeres this summer.

It’s no surprise that the 26-year-old is among Europe’s most sought-after strikers as the summer approaches. Speculation about his future has been intense all season, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United all expressing interest.

Gyökeres has remained composed amid the swirling rumors. “No one can predict what will happen; we are enjoying the moment,” the Swedish player stated after scoring three goals on Friday.

Nonetheless, there is a strong expectation that the prolific striker will depart Lisbon this summer, as Sporting CP has already consented to sell him for approximately €70 million instead of insisting on clubs activating his €100 million release clause.

Gyökeres to Arsenal is taking shape.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United all urgently require a striker, making their interest in Gyökeres understandable. However, A Bola indicates there is already a clear frontrunner for his signature.

The Portuguese publication claims that Arsenal is in the lead for Gyökeres and is ‘best placed’ to secure his transfer this summer.

The Gunners have intensified their pursuit in recent weeks following the appointment of Andrea Berta as their sporting director.

Manchester United’s head coach, Ruben Amorim, is eager to reconnect with his former player; however, the club’s challenging financial and competitive circumstances render a transfer improbable.

Unless they can secure a spot in the Champions League by triumphing in the Europa League, acquiring Gyokeres will be unfeasible.

On the other hand, Chelsea is not explicitly seeking a complete substitute for Nicolas Jackson.

Instead, they are in search of a player who can challenge the Senegalese international, which is why they are concentrating on younger talents such as Liam Delap.
