Arsenal have reached an agreement on personal terms to secure their fourth transfer target for Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners have finalized personal terms to bring in a fourth player for Mikel Arteta this summer.

Following a slow start to the summer transfer window, Arsenal is poised to enhance Arteta’s squad with several new acquisitions.

The £55m transfer deal for Martin Zubimendi is anticipated to be confirmed next week, as Real Sociedad has requested a delay until July.

Additionally, Arsenal has struck a £5m agreement with Chelsea to acquire Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was once the world’s most expensive goalkeeper.

In other news, Arsenal is looking to sign Christian Norgaard from Brentford and has already arranged for the midfielder’s medical examination at the Emirates Stadium.

A fourth signing for the summer is also in progress, with Arsenal having agreed on personal terms with Cristhian Mosquera for a transfer from Valencia.

Although Arsenal’s initial offer for Mosquera was declined, the Premier League club is prepared to submit a revised bid.

The rejected offer was reportedly around £12m, while Valencia is seeking approximately double that figure.

Mosquera joined Valencia at the age of 12 and has made 90 first-team appearances since making his debut in 2022.

The centre-back has represented Spain at various youth levels and is regarded as a potential future international star.

Mosquera will strengthen Arteta’s defensive lineup and offer support and competition for the strong centre-back duo of William Saliba and Gabriel.

Gabriel has recently committed to a long-term contract with Arsenal, but Saliba has been frequently linked to a transfer to Real Madrid over the last year.

The addition of Mosquera could pave the way for Jakub Kiwior to depart Arsenal, as the Poland international remains connected to AC Milan.

Arsenal is receptive to offers for Oleksandr Zinchenko and has already let Kieran Tierney go, who has returned to Celtic after a six-year tenure in north London.

Arteta is eager to strengthen several aspects of his team following another season without securing a trophy.
