Liverpool consider permanent move for Ronald Araujo –

Ronald Araujo
Liverpool are increasingly likely to pursue a permanent deal for Ronald Araújo if the Barcelona loanee maintains his impressive form, according to reports from MARCA.

The Uruguay international joined Andoni Iraola’s side on a season-long loan in August, with a reported €55 million purchase option included in the agreement.

Araújo has adapted quickly to English football and established himself as an important option in Liverpool’s defence, including at right-back. His performances have strengthened the case for keeping him beyond the current campaign.

The 27-year-old made more than 200 appearances for Barcelona before moving to Anfield, where Liverpool will assess his progress before deciding whether to activate the reported clause.
