Liverpool is currently awaiting developments regarding Bradley Barcola.

Consequently, it is unlikely that Liverpool will reach a contract agreement with Barcola until approximately July 20-21 at the earliest.

Romano recently confirmed that PSG values the French talent at a figure exceeding the £116m that Manchester City paid for Elliot Anderson, indicating that Liverpool will need to offer a substantial amount to finalize a deal.

There have been rumors that Arsenal is in discussions to acquire both Barcola and Rogers; however, Romano asserts that the Gunners are presently concentrating on the latter.

Barcola may seek a transfer from the French capital due to the anticipated signings of Diomande and Maghnes Akliouche.

PSG is currently undergoing a transformation of their attacking lineup, with Barcola and Lee Kang-in potentially joining Goncalo Ramos in departing the club.

Bradley Barcola’s timeline to Liverpool has been outlined by Fabrizio Romano following the revelation of him as a ‘top’ target.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will need to wait until Bradley Barcola and the French national team exit the World Cup before they can secure the Paris Saint-Germain winger.

Initially, Liverpool had set their sights on RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande to take over Mohamed Salah’s position on the right wing, proposing a substantial deal worth €100 million (£86 million). However, Diomande prefers to join PSG this summer, leading the two-time Champions League winners to initiate discussions with Leipzig.

This situation has compelled Liverpool to reconsider their options. On Friday, Romano indicated that PSG’s Barcola has now become Liverpool’s primary target to enhance their attacking lineup.

“It needs to be a significant offer. So it’s up to Liverpool, for instance,” the journalist remarked. “Liverpool has Barcola at the top of their list, so he remains a priority for them. I’ve been saying this for months. Don’t overlook Barcola.

“And now we find ourselves with Barcola as a serious target for Liverpool, but it ultimately hinges on their financial capacity to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, so we must closely monitor Barcola’s situation.”

Romano provided an update on Sunday: “Many of you are asking me, ‘is it true that Barcola has a preference for one club over another?’ At this moment, I can assure you that Barcola is keeping his options open.

“First, while he is participating in the World Cup with France, no moves will be made. Second, PSG is seeking a substantial fee.

“Third, Barcola is not deemed an untouchable asset by PSG. He holds significance for the club, but he is not irreplaceable.

“This implies that PSG would be willing to retain him, but if a lucrative offer comes in for both the player and PSG, we need to keep an eye on Barcola.

“Liverpool is in the mix, as well as Arsenal. However, Arsenal’s main focus is on Morgan Rogers.”

Liverpool may encounter a prolonged wait in their efforts to sign Barcola, as France is viewed as a strong contender to win the World Cup. This suggests they could progress deep into the tournament.
