Liverpool learns of £50m release clause while Brazilian midfielder indicates readiness for transfer.

Liverpool is set for a significant transformation this summer following the appointment of Arne Slot at Anfield.

With Jurgen Klopp’s departure, the Reds are gearing up for a new era under Slot’s leadership, as he aims to revamp the first-team squad with fresh faces.

According to reports from our partners at the Mirror, Dani Olmo, the talented Spanish midfielder from RB Leipzig, has a £50 million release clause that is anticipated to be activated before its expiration next week.

Olmo has been instrumental in Spain’s journey to the Euro 2024 final, where they are scheduled to clash with England this Sunday.

Having already contributed three goals and two assists in the ongoing tournament, the 26-year-old impressed with eight goals and five assists for Leipzig last season.

Despite the interest from Liverpool, it seems unlikely that Olmo will be making a move to the Reds at this point.

According to Caught Offside, Fulham has reignited discussions regarding the acquisition of Andre, who has been previously linked with Liverpool.

The Brazilian is reportedly considering a move to Craven Cottage this summer, while Fluminense is seeking a fee ranging between €30-35m for their talented player.

Liverpool has shown interest in the midfielder, with strong rumors of a potential deal last summer and in January. However, Andre decided to remain in Brazil during those transfer windows.

Regarding Liverpool’s interest last year, Fluminense president Mario Bittencourt mentioned, “The CEO of Liverpool reached out to me directly.

I responded by saying, ‘I am not selling or releasing a player at the moment. If you wish to purchase now for January, we can discuss, or if you prefer to wait until December, we can talk then’.”

We can confirm that we did not receive any offers for him initially, only inquiries for Andre.

Our decision not to sell him was based on our belief that we would make it to the final stages of the Libertadores. This was a decision made with a focus on sporting considerations.
