There have been reports of interest from Real Madrid regarding Konate, especially given the uncertainty surrounding his future at Anfield. The Spanish club is reportedly contemplating a move akin to the situation with Trent Alexander-Arnold last summer, when he transferred to Los Blancos for a reduced fee.

However, if Konate’s subpar performances persist, it is uncertain whether Real’s interest in the defender will develop, particularly with several high-caliber centre-backs expected to be available as free agents after the season ends.

This encompasses Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi, both of whom nearly signed with Liverpool in the last moments of the summer transfer window.
