‘Unlikely he stays…’ – An insider from Elland Road reveals a startling update on Daniel Farke.

Leeds United squandered a significant opportunity to gain ground in the relegation battle. The Whites failed to secure a victory against Brentford in their last match before the international break.

Their draw with Keith Andrews’ team now leaves Leeds with just two points from their last four matches. This has been a dismal stretch for Daniel Farke’s squad, particularly given that they could have salvaged points in previous encounters.

Leeds had a chance to earn a point against Manchester City, but their finishing was lacking.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin also failed to convert a vital penalty in the 0-0 stalemate with Crystal Palace. The situation was further complicated when Gabriel Gudmundsson received a red card, forcing the Whites to compete with ten players for the second half. The Premier League later acknowledged that the referee had made a mistake.

An insider from Elland Road shares an update on Daniel Farke.

With eight matches remaining, Leeds United finds itself just four points clear of the relegation zone. Anything is possible, but there is still a considerable amount of the season left before any conclusions can be drawn. As it stands, Daniel Farke’s future may be in question, according to Adam Pope.

The journalist noted on BBC Sport that he believes Farke will depart the club if Leeds faces relegation: “It’s unlikely he stays in the event of relegation. However, he currently has the backing of his employers, so there is a case to be made that if the board remains dedicated to the style of football it aimed to implement for promotion last time, which was aggressive, featuring wingers, and focused on dominating matches — they may feel Farke is the right person to deliver that again, as he was the favored choice from the initial selection when he joined in July 2023.”

Leeds United still has a chance to remain in the Premier League this season.

Leeds are in a strong position to avoid relegation this season, as they lack the European commitments that Nottingham Forest faces.

Meanwhile, Spurs find themselves without a manager following the dismissal of interim coach Igor Tudor. West Ham appears to be the sole contender, having secured crucial points in their latest matches.

Daniel Farke’s team must leverage their home advantage in the upcoming fixtures, with three matches scheduled at Elland Road. Securing nine points from these games could be sufficient to ensure their survival for the next season.
