Liverpool is one step nearer to securing a deal for Alexander Isak after reaching another transfer agreement, according to reports.

It appears that Liverpool target Alexander Isak will soon have his desire for a transfer to Merseyside fulfilled.

The prospect of Alexander Isak joining Liverpool seems inevitable.

Although Liverpool’s initial bid of around £120 million was turned down, there is an increasing belief that they will make another offer.

Any additional amount beyond their previous bid may necessitate generating extra funds, and they have already begun this process.

Liverpool is one step closer to finalizing a deal for Alexander Isak.

Despite their considerable spending this summer, Liverpool has managed to recover a significant sum through player sales.

The sales of Luis Diaz, Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Jarrel Quansah have collectively raised over £120 million, and Darwin Nunez seems to be on the verge of leaving Anfield as well.

Further funds are expected from the sale of academy talent Tyler Morton, who is reportedly heading to French club Lyon, as per L’Equipe.

The Reds have agreed on a deal worth €15 million, including add-ons, for the defensive midfielder to move to southern France.

As an academy product, he is considered ‘pure profit’ in terms of PSR, providing Liverpool with significant flexibility for future transfers.

This development would make a transfer for Isak more attainable and allow Liverpool to adjust their offer according to Newcastle’s expectations.

Morton did not fully realize his potential at Liverpool, despite showing promise in early matches, particularly during his impressive performance at San Siro against Milan in the Champions League.

For all involved, except perhaps Newcastle, this is a beneficial arrangement.

Morton will be happy to play regular, high-level football, Liverpool has created some PSR space for themselves, and Lyon has secured what is believed to be a long-term target.

Newcastle supporters may be concerned that with each passing move, Liverpool is getting closer to meeting their valuation of Isak, thereby threatening to take away their prized asset.
