Newcastle vs Arsenal: Today’s Predicted Lineup and Confirmed Team News, Arsenal’s Expected Line-up Against Newcastle United, with three changes from the draw against Man City.

Arsenal is set to seek a return to winning form in the Premier League as they take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park tomorrow.

Currently, the Gunners trail leaders Liverpool by five points. A win against the Magpies would narrow that gap to just two points.

In preparation for the match, manager Mikel Arteta is expected to implement at least three changes from the 1-1 draw with the Cityzens last weekend.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has been a constant presence in the Premier League for Arsenal, having kept three clean sheets and aiming for another one.

In front of him, the same defensive line from the stalemate against the Cityzens is anticipated. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori are expected to fill the right and left-back positions, respectively.

William Saliba is set to partner with Gabriel Magalhaes at the center of defense.

In the midfield, Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice are likely to be guaranteed starters, while Mikel Merino may be dropped following his lackluster performances against City and Port Vale.

Although manager Mikel Arteta values the physicality of the Spaniard, the 43-year-old must adopt a more dynamic approach and include a creative midfielder against Newcastle.

Martin Odegaard has returned to full training after his recent shoulder injury, but he may start on the bench due to his lack of match fitness after missing several games.

Therefore, we expect Eberechi Eze to take on the role of central playmaker. The Englishman provided an excellent assist against City and scored his first club goal against Port Vale in the Carabao Cup.

Further up the pitch, Viktor Gyokeres is a certain starter in the number nine position, especially with Kai Havertz sidelined due to injury.

Bukayo Saka is certain to play on the right wing. Gabriel Martinelli is expected to be preferred over Leandro Trossard on the left side due to his recent impressive performances as a substitute.

Martinelli scored the first goal against Athletic Bilbao and later netted a crucial late equaliser against City. He is likely to start over Trossard, who does not possess enough pace for effective counter-attacks.
