Mohamed Salah is set to feature in Liverpool’s FA Cup match against Manchester United on Sunday.

The Egyptian star made a remarkable return in Thursday’s victory over Sparta Prague, contributing with a goal and three assists.

Salah’s last start was in the win against Newcastle on New Year’s Day, and he is expected to be included in Jurgen Klopp’s lineup at Old Trafford.

However, there are concerns regarding Ibrahima Konate’s availability, as he did not train on Friday. Klopp mentioned that Konate’s participation will depend on whether he can train on Saturday, but it seems unlikely.

On a positive note, Ryan Gravenberch trained and is ready for the upcoming match. Klopp also provided updates on other players, stating that Curtis Jones will return after the break, while Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold have a chance the following week.

Stefan Bajcetic is experiencing some discomfort, but it is not an injury-related issue. Liverpool will not rush his return until he is fully prepared for the intensity of the game. Bajcetic is expected to join team training after the international break.

The predicted Liverpool starting XI includes Kelleher, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Gomez, Mac Allister, Endo, Szoboszlai, Salah, Nunez, and Diaz. There are doubts surrounding Konate and Clark, while Alexander-Arnold, Jones, Alisson, Jota, Thiago, Bajcetic, Doak, and Matip are currently injured.

The match is scheduled for 3.30pm GMT on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Old Trafford.
