The main concerns revolve around the availability of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez for today’s Carabao Cup final. Despite the uncertainties, I have chosen to include both players in the line-up, with plans to give them a break in the upcoming match against Nottingham Forest. They will be given a night off against Southampton.

The primary concerns for today revolve around the fitness of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez. Being an eternal optimist, I have decided to include both of them in the lineup for today’s match before giving them a week of rest ahead of our visit to Nottingham Forest. This means that Nunez will lead the line, Salah will occupy the right flank, and Luis Diaz will be positioned on the left. Cody Gakpo will be available as a substitute.

In midfield, I have chosen to give Harvey Elliott the opportunity over Ryan Gravenberch, while Alexis Mac Allister will be shifted to the left side of the two No.8 positions. Wataru Endo will be responsible for patrolling the base of the engine room.

In defense, I have resisted the strong claims of Joe Gomez and instead opted for Conor Bradley at right-back, with Andy Robertson starting on the opposite flank. Ibrahima Konate will partner with Virgil van Dijk at the center.

If Salah and Nunez are unable to make it, Gravenberch and Gakpo will be brought in as replacements.

Here is my team lineup in a 4-3-3 formation: Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Endo, Elliott, Mac Allister; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, faces a challenging situation with several key players missing for the League Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley.

Caoimhin Kelleher will be in goal, Conor Bradley at right-back, and Ibrahima Konate partnering Virgil van Dijk in defense. Joe Gomez is benched, with Andy Robertson at left-back. In midfield, Wataru Endo plays as the number six, Alexis Mac Allister on the right, and Ryan Gravenberch on the left.

What options does Jurgen Klopp have, then?

Regardless of Alisson Becker’s hamstring complaint, Caoimhin Kelleher would have been the goalkeeper. Conor Bradley is firmly established as the right-back, while Ibrahima Konate can reunite with Virgil van Dijk in the center-back position. It is a difficult decision, but Joe Gomez is on the bench, with Andy Robertson taking his place as the left-back.

Due to injuries, there is limited flexibility in midfield. Wataru Endo occupies the number six role, with Alexis Mac Allister on his right and Ryan Gravenberch on his left.

Gomez just needs to step off the bench and find the back of the net to secure the victory. Let’s hope it happens, Joe.

My team (4-3-3): Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Endo, Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Elliott, Gakpo, Diaz

Liverpool is being very secretive about the condition of Darwin Nunez, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Mohamed Salah. We do know that the two forwards were present at the AXA Training on Friday, but it remains uncertain if any of them have participated in team training and to what extent. The Reds are evaluating their fitness on a daily basis as they prepare for the trip to Wembley.

To be safe, I would recommend using them as impact substitutes at most if they are deemed fit. In the past, Liverpool has rushed players back for finals under Jurgen Klopp, only for them to play cautiously due to understandable reasons.

As a result, the team practically chooses itself from the remaining players who are fully fit and available. The attacking trio and midfield remain unchanged from the victory against Luton on Wednesday, with Cody Gakpo leading the line, Harvey Elliott on the right, and Ryan Gravenberch completing the midfield trio.

Ibrahima Konate makes his return alongside Virgil van Dijk in the center-back position, while Conor Bradley is chosen as the right-back to cause trouble for Chelsea once again. Unfortunately, Joe Gomez is left out of the starting lineup, with Andy Robertson being selected as the left-back.

Here is my team in a 4-3-3 formation: Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Endo, Gravenberch; Elliott, Gakpo, Diaz.
