Expected Liverpool lineup against Arsenal: Mac Allister available; Bradley ready for his first start of the season.

Conor Bradley is set to make his inaugural start of the 2025/26 Premier League season when Liverpool takes on Arsenal at Anfield this Sunday.

Liverpool aims to maintain their flawless start to the 2025/26 Premier League season as they host Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday evening. Arne Slot has received encouraging news regarding the team’s condition ahead of this match.

Alexis Mac Allister has returned to training after missing the match against Newcastle United due to an injury. Conor Bradley has also found his rhythm through training sessions leading up to the clash with Arsenal.

However, Jeremie Frimpong is still out due to a hamstring injury that will keep him out until after the international break. During his pre-match press conference, Slot addressed the fitness levels of Bradley, Mac Allister, and Virgil van Dijk.

The Liverpool manager stated, “The good news is that Conor Bradley had only one or two training sessions before the Newcastle match; he has trained fully this week – [well] not the entire week as there are still two days remaining.”

When asked about Mac Allister and van Dijk, Slot responded, “Mac Allister has resumed training, so I don’t believe we sustained any injuries from that game [against Newcastle], no. And Virgil [van Dijk] is also fine.”

Alisson Becker will keep his position in goal, with Liverpool expected to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation against Arsenal on Sunday.

The defense is likely to see one alteration, with Conor Bradley making his first appearance in the starting lineup for the 2025/26 season.

The local full-back will join Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, and Milos Kerkez in the defensive lineup.

Regarding the midfield setup, Dominik Szoboszlai is expected to partner with Ryan Gravenberch in the double pivot, having previously played as a right-back in the match against Newcastle United.

Florian Wirtz will take on the no. 10 position, while Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah will serve as the two wide forwards.

Lastly, Hugo Ekitike is set to spearhead the attack for the defending champions in their match against Arsenal. Consequently, Rio Ngumoha and Federico Chiesa will be available as substitutes on the bench.

Liverpool XI: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, van Dijk, Kerkez; Szoboszlai, Gravenberch; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike
