Liverpool is informed of the asking price set by MAMMOTH for a potential replacement for Salah.

With key players like Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, and Trent Alexander-Arnold approaching the end of their contracts, Liverpool might be preparing for a significant transfer window ahead.

The contracts of Van Dijk, Salah, and Alexander-Arnold are set to expire in 2025. If negotiations fail, Liverpool could entertain offers for the trio rather than risk losing them for free next year.

Reports suggest that Alexander-Arnold is attracting interest from the Bundesliga, particularly from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund eyeing Van Dijk. Additionally, Real Madrid is being considered as a potential destination for one of the players.

In the summer, Al-Ittihad made a substantial offer for Salah, but Liverpool managed to fend it off successfully.

The new sporting director, Richard Hughes, will face a crucial decision as there is a possibility that the Saudi Pro League team will come back with an attempt to make Salah the face of their competition.

If the new management at Anfield decides to capitalize on Salah, they will need to sign a replacement forward.

Liverpool will have to pay £85 million for Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus, who currently plays as a forward for West Ham, is being considered as a potential transfer target for Liverpool. Recent reports from Spanish publication Fichajes indicated that Liverpool has been monitoring the Ghanaian international as they plan for the future without Jurgen Klopp.

Renowned transfer reporter David Ornstein later revealed that Kudus’s contract with West Ham includes a release clause, although the exact amount was not specified.

According to a recent report from Claret & Hugh, interested parties will need to pay £85 million to release Kudus from his West Ham contract. The report emphasizes that Kudus insisted on including the release clause, which played a crucial role in securing his deal last summer.

Additionally, it reveals that West Ham would have to pay a comparable amount for Lucas Paqueta. The article highlights that the clause has unspecified criteria and is only operational for a limited period during the transfer window.

Despite challenging conditions at the London Stadium, Kudus has had a commendable debut season in England after joining the Hammers from Ajax for a hefty fee of over £38 million.

He has scored a total of 17 goals and provided six assists in all competitions, with seven of his goals coming from 31 Premier League games. One of his goals, a remarkable solo effort against Freiburg in the Europa League round of 16, has been hailed as a “wonder goal.”

Prior to his surprising move to West Ham, the Ghanaian forward built a solid reputation in Amsterdam, netting 27 goals in 87 matches for Ajax.

Known for his versatility as a left-footed player, he is capable of playing in various attacking roles. While he has primarily operated on the right wing like Salah, he also excels as a center forward and attacking midfielder.

Kudus is currently tied to West Ham until 2028, with an option for an additional year.

EX-RED BACKS KUDUS AS POTENTIAL SALAH REPLACEMENT

In the event that the team decides to part ways with Salah, former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique believes Kudus could be a suitable replacement.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sports recently, he expressed his confidence in Mohammed Kudus as a potential successor to Salah.

“I would have said that even last summer, and he is obviously playing really well for West Ham right now.”
