Liverpool have made a bid to acquire the services of a versatile star who earns £153,000 per week, as reported by a journalist.

Liverpool have reportedly made a move to acquire the services of versatile star Federico Chiesa, with rumors suggesting that an offer has been tabled for the player.

Fabio Santini (via TV Play) has indicated that Juventus are considering selling the Italian international to generate funds.

The Italian journalist made the following statement:

Juventus might consider selling Chiesa instead of Vlahovic, contrary to the rumors. There are offers from top Premier League clubs, particularly Liverpool, for Chiesa.

By selling Chiesa, Juventus would earn approximately €40-45m. With that amount, they can pursue Retegui, who should not be seen as a duplicate of Vlahovic, but rather as his partner. Juventus will have to carefully manage their finances, as they say in Milan, to make this happen.

The 26-year-old star is a versatile player, capable of performing effectively on the left wing and even in central offensive positions.

Considering his impressive performance as a secondary striker, Chiesa has made a significant impact in the current campaign, contributing directly to 9 goals in 18 league starts for the Azzurri.

Additionally, he has represented Italy in 45 international matches and played a crucial role in their triumph at the European championships three years ago.

During the recent international break, Chiesa featured for 65 minutes in a 2-1 victory over Venezuela and was also named as an unused substitute against Ecuador.

Although Liverpool currently possesses several talented attacking options, the question arises whether they should consider signing Federico Chiesa as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
